Patchwork #6

Just finished another patchwork painting with 324 individually designed squares on an 18″ × 18″ canvas. Turned out even better than the original one. What a painstaking process. Each one inch square has multiple layers of acrylic paint before the actual design process even begins. I am currently working on a large patchwork painting for CSMA’s Arts for All Marathon. The color scheme is a vibrant mix of blues and greens. Each square is being sponsored for $20 and I hope to raise at least $1000 for the school and our community.

Patchwork Painting #5

Just finished painting my latest patchwork painting series—with golds, purples, and greens. Still need to apply varnish to the painting and do final touches. This one is 12″ × 36″.

Started three new paintings today.....

Started 3 new paintings today. One is a commission based on my patchwork paintings series—using gold, purple, dark green, and yellow for inspiration—client also wants a galaxy abstract feel. The second painting is an abstract landscape. The third painting is a geometrical interpretation of a recent stained glass that focuses on vibrant shades of red. Watch for pics of my paintings in progress…
